Good evening!

Today at Whiston Worrygoose Junior and Infant Scool, it was reported that 29 children were auditioning to be newsreaders.  In an amazing development, eyewitnesses  said the children had written their own scripts and taken on the characters of newsreaders, reporters and people on the scene to report the unfortunate events of The Sheffield Flood.

Mrs Lockwood, the Producer and Editor of Whiston News stated “There have been some incredible scenes of children using their imaginations and working as teams, I’ve been really proud of the effort they have made!”

Tomorrow will see final rehearsals of the scripts in preparation for filming in the afternoon.  Mrs Gadella, a production assistant at the school said ” We are all very excited about the filming tomorrow and seeing the children in shirts and ties and reporter’s clothes.  There are even plans to paint some of the children’s faces with fake blood and dirt to depict them as victims”

We will, of course, keep you updated on the progress of this story in future bulletins.
